Construction is complete on the new classrooms and welding booths. The classrooms will be used for instructor lecture and testing. The booths have been “outfitted” with adjustable stands, fume extractors, as well as new welding machines. The new mezzanine located above the classrooms will be known as “rebar city.” Rebar city is to be a “hands on” training area for our apprentices. It will consist of wall, pier, and mat mock-ups along with post-tensioning displays. Structural and metal building mock structures are also in the works.
